shorter dogbones question

since i lowered my car, i've heard great things about shorter dogbones. recently recieved them from zzp and installed them today. it got rid of my car vibration, and its also made my car sound more throatier on startup........it sounds completly different.....really wasnt expecting that but at least its good. but the question i have is, that it also makes my exhaust sound like its shaking at low RPM's and can be felt by my passengers feet. anyone else have this?? It seems as though by pulling the engine forward, its "stretching" my exhaust? anyone?

RE: shorter dogbones question

:::Bump:::

after driving it more, I've noticed it wasnt really the exhaust. Its actually my transmission. I noticed it shakes around 1500 to 2000 rpm. Also, anytime im in reverse it makes a lot of noise, and also on startup. if i hold onto the shifter while im driving, during low RPM i can actually feel it shake.........is it possible i loosened a tranny mount when i pulled the engine forward?

i looked at this, and i think im gonna upgrade my tranny to the HD. zzp makes an upgrade kit and it should be worth it. im also gonna have it checked out too, make sure nothing internally has failed. Thanks though, that site has tons of info on it!

remember when you do the HD, your changing the gear ratio of the car, making it slower and you will need a new passenger axle.
