Replacing Bent Rod

Is a bent rod the end of the motor or what is needed to be done to get rid of this problem.im find gp's cheap that have bent rods an i could handle the task myself as long as it does not requier pulling the motor, any help would be great, thanks!

You would have to pull the engine, becuase 9 times out of 10 your going to have crank damage

A motor with a bent rod would need a complete rebuild.

Or you could get a donor motor and drop it in, but rebuild Would be better...

If someone had a bent rod, I would just recommend getting a used block.

So if you are going to buy an engine with a bent rod, I wouldn't even bother.

Just replaceing that 1 rod isnt going to work...It means that theres some other significant damage done to it....U need to rebuild the complete motor...Includeing line honeing the mains. etc... no other way to do it...other than a complete and different engine change...
