I hear what your saying. I decided to just get me an L67 and use the harness and PCM from the donor car. Then send it to ZZP and have them work ont it. I'll probably use their "Sand Rail" program. I'll take your advice Bumpin and use a TB with the S/C but with a few tweeks of my own. YOu never know whats in this Frankenstein mind of mine. LOL

NOw question. Setting aside the exhaust ( i have my own plans ), with just 1.9 rockers, will i see any differance? Or are there other supporing mods that neds to be done.

I guess a better question would be, What mods do i need to achieve 300 Crank HP?

Keep in mind, if you're going to be modding the car and trying to make 300 crank hp; you would probably be better off having someone local do a custom tune (or buying a tuner yourself)- sure ZZP can delete the codes, but its still going to be a basic canned pcm- and you won't get near the gains of a custom tune. I'd do all the mods to the engine that you want, swap it in, then have someone come over with a tuner and do your initial flash, and then tune it for you.

If you want to 'tweak' it, buy a N* TB and have the s/c inlet ported to match the new size. Thats a pretty good mod.

Obviously you'll have a gain adding 0.3 to the rocker ratio on any engine- and it is pretty good- obviously you can do other mods too.

Have you read through the 3800 mod plan sticky thread yet? Try that first, then if you have questions, we can help you through them.
