P1810 after engine and tranny swap

Ok so Im having issues with my 2000 Monte Carlo it's a 3.4l and I recently swapped engine and tranny with another 3.4l off an '03. Almost everything works great besides every other start, the car doesn't shift out of 2nd gear. I also have a P1810 code which is if I'm not mistaken is the pressure solenoid. My original tranny tag said 610RLB and on the new one it is 613RDB. I've been on Google looking for other similar issues one person had his ecu reprogrammed. I found a site that broke down the tranny numbers. From what I read both tannys are identical. But it could be wrong. My question to whom my know is do I need to reprogram my ecu or do might I really have a bad solenoid or maybe something else I may have over looked. Thanks

It's possible the solenoid is bad in the tranny you swapped into the car, but I would first check the fuse labeled TRANS SOL located in the lower under hood fuse panel. You may have accidently blown it during the R&R.

Ok well I checked the fuse its good, but I replaced it anyways. Still the same. Thanks I didn't know that was there. I just realised that sometimes when I turn the car off the keys will not come until I slam the shifter into park. Could a misadjusted shift cable be the problem of all this. How hard is it to adjust. Is it adjustable.

Here is a little more info I found.
Original tranny: 0RLB 2.86 35/35 2.86 FDQB 245MM 180 yes ims
New tranny: 3RDB 2.86 35/35 2.86 FDHB 245MM 180 yes ims
Everything is the same but the FDQB and FDHB I found that to be torque converter numbers. I looked up those TQ's and they both have a 2095 stall. So now I think I'm at the point where I'm confident that the trannys are compatible and it's a bad pressure switch or maybe the shift cable is adjusted wrong.

When you say that the car will not start, is the starter firing when you turn the key or does nothing happen? You can only fire the starter when in park or in neutral. If the starter does not fire when turning the key my guess would be the problem is sensing of the gear selction.

As for not shifting out of 2nd ... I can't help you with that.

Oh no, it starts great. That's not a problem it's when I put it into park sometimes it will not go completely into park and the keys will not come out of the ignition. So I have to slam it into park. Sorry about the confusion I should have gave all the details. So, a recap of my situation, I put a newer motor and tranny into my car the engine sounds great. Now my tranny will not shift out of 2nd until I shut down for about ten mins then it will run fine no problems til I shut down for about ten minutes. I have a code P1810 (pressure solenoid). And sometimes I have to slam my shifter into park because it will not go into park when normally operated. I hope this makes sense. Thanks again in advance for any advice.

If the shift cable isn't adjusted correctly it could be the problem. There is a button at the throttle end of the cable you press to make adjustments. As you hold the button in push the slider away from the throttle lever and out of the fitting, then release the button. Now move the throttle lever by hand to the WOT position. As you do you should hear the adjuster clicking into place. Release the throttle lever and the cable has been adjusted.

Well I couldn't figure out how to adjust the cable. So, I took it to 2 shops to see if they can check it for me and they both said that it is not adjustable. So maybe I check a couple of more shops.

I swapped ECM I put a 03 Impala ECM and now it shifts good and codes went away and now I got p0134, p0135 and a P0327 code.

P0134 & P0135 are Heated O2 sensor related. P0327 is Knock Sensor related.
