P1441

The code P1441 just showed up on my girlfriend's 01 monte SS. I know it has to do with the EVAP system but not sure how to fix. So my questions are what could be causing the code, how hard is it to fix, and how much will it cost?

It means that the evap system is purging into the intake manifold, even when its no supposed to. My best guess would be that the purge solenoid is bad and is stuck open.
