Oil in Radiator

Default Oil in Radiator

Can anyone help me out here. I have a 96 monte carlo LS, and oil is getting in the radiator. I'm thinking it has somethign to do with the intake.

I would almost say you have a head gasket problem...

head gasket

9957pt is the felpro part # ...your gonna need 2 (this is for the 3.1l)

if you have any oil in your rad, or antifreeze in your oil(this is the way it usually happens) then its usually the head gasket

haha yup my 3.1 did that to me, the problem is the severe angle of the lower intake gasket has a bad habit of splitting. but yeah DO NOT START the car until you fix this problem of you will be suffering down the road. tis why i built a new engine, so either head or lower intake gasket is 100% the problem

get the ms98004t gasket kit for the intake manifold too while your at it you may as well do it right...

thats true josh, u gotta take it off to replace the head gasket and u might as well go with the best replacement you can find or else you'll be doing this again later on down the road unfortunatly

GPD whats a head gasket? is that the thing that keeps your hair dry?
