need help with cooling and heating system

my 2002 monte carlo antifreeze coolant keeps leaking from top and below the radiator from both hoses i tithing them but the pressure still makes them leak , does that mean the radiator is bad or water pump, i recently replace the thermostat three months ago , and the fans do turn on and off like normal " the car would overheat a little pass the middle but it usually goes back down again:confused::confused:...

Hi `Zyon,
Sorry 2 read that U are having problems..

How many miles on your Monte ?

Have you ever flushed your system ? If so, when ? How long or miles ago ?

Are your clamps on your hoses tight ? Are they the original hoses ?

Please post as much infor about your problems so when our expert tech member's reads your thread it will help them advise, or suggest a solution...Good Luck 4-Sure

Please start a new thread as this one is 8 years old. It's rather difficult to help without more information.

If you have a issue it's best to start a new thread, but I'll try to help. If your car is low on coolant you show really try and find the leak. It's a sealed system so the cooling just doesn't disappear and a pressure tester is the best tool for the job. You add fill the system , add air pressure with the tester and look for the leak. As for why you don't have heat , I'll guess your referring to the heater/defroster . If the system is low this is usually one of the results and another possibility is the heater core is plugged because of the age and that would usually require a back flush to fix the problem.
