Default nitrous oxide upgrade

i was wondering on some people opinions on adding a shot of nos to my monte, i am looking at an edelbrock kit on jegs (pn# 350-70033), following is a list of the motor upgrades, as far as specs on the parts, i don't know them off hand and its gunna take time to get them, but i'll give you as much as i know.

350 bored .030 over to a 355
stock remanufactured crankshaft
stock connecting rods
speed pro forged pistons w/moly rings
power pak heads with double springs
edelbrock performer intake manifold
edelbrock 650cfm carb
edelbrock performer camshaft
hydraulic lifters

if you need anything else just ask and i'll get what i can. thanks

is that all that i should need, and i'm not sure if you looked at the kit that i describedon there, but its rated for 100-250hp gain, do you think that that would be safe to run with my setup, or should i try and look for something smaller

well it all depends on what you are looking for ?
if you just want a litle bit more i would go with a machanical pump upgrade like i said in my first post and use a performer kit 350-70001
and if you want more go with a performer rmp kit 350-70033
but get a electric pump and regulator
the stock crank and rods are good for at least 500 hp and you have forged pistons i am running a 125 shot in a V6 with hypertec pistons with no problems !
but it's mostly fuel you have to worry about so the bigge shot you go i would go with a better pump the last thing you want is for your motor to go lean

i think i'll take your word on that, but one last question, i was talking to my teacher today, and he adds nitrous to cars like this all day, he recommends pumps that put out about 14psi, now in terms of pressure from 8psi to 14psi is a pretty big difference, could you explain to me the effects of having a higher volume fuelpump, or in your own opinion, would a 14psi pump be something that is way overkill and could possibly cause my motor to run extremley rich by sending a ton more fuel in the motor.

i think that 14 psi is to much because if you go with lest say an electric fuel pump that pushes 14psi you will need a regulator so set it down to 6-8 psi anyway !
