Actually, for the L67 swap- I have a much better thread. I wrote a complete walkthrough for the 5th gen monte- so people could see the work involved and what pitfalls there are. When I get some spare time, I'll update it and copy it over to this forum (to correct the formatting and replace lost pictures from it getting moved around a lot on mymonte)- for now, this is the thread I'm talking about:

Thanks, although its all goofed up now with the new whipple being black, and the fuel rails being red (got too antsy to get both of them on the car). I'm still undecided on the new theme- the rails are definitely going to be anodized blue, and I plan to get the zzp polished aluminum valve covers- so I don't know if a polished blower between polished valve covers would be too much- if I should maybe stick with black on the blower or what not.
When I did my engine bay originally, the car was white with blue stripes. Since then, I removed the stripes (like the clean white look better anyways)- so I've thought about cutting down on some of the blue under the hood too so its more of an accent color, rather than a main focus.
Also- thanks for the compliments from everybody else too!

Once I got the engine back from the machine shop, I set it on the floor and did some quick trial fitting of the parts I had. Just wanted to get an idea of what it was all going to look like put together, so I could start thinking more about the color theme:

Thats the nice thing about doing a build like that-other than the ~$2k price for the heads, most of the other costs were spread out one at a time in much smaller amounts. So you still stay satisfied by getting new parts without breaking the bank all at once.
So did you have to make custom motor mounts?
Nope, its totally bolt in using stock mounts. Although I did put in new stock lowers, and solid poly uppers (squares and rounds).
