I have decided to get Stage 4 package from 3800 performance. With a 3.25 pulley goin with AutoLite Double platimum plugs not sure which thermostat to get 160 or 180 what are advantages of cooler thermostat?

180 will work all it does is open up when coolant engine hits that temp inside the block. it lowers the temp of your engine so it reduces knock. Down side is in the winter your heater blows colder air. I would add a port and polish to your stock heads and a ported and polished blower housing from W Body Store. Its cheap and will give you lower temps. Just put your m90 internals into the new blower.

Drilled 180* is fine. Also, scrap the platinum plugs for copper on a s/c setup.

Thank you for your input. Why copper over platinum plugs?

more KR resistance on a boosted setup running on the verge.

Sure you have to change them more often, but they're dirt cheap- barely over a buck a plug
