Well I got Ol Yella back yesterday. All gears, Torque Converter, TCC, all working. She shifts with the grace of a Ballerina! I Love my car.
For any of you in the NJ area, (North Jersey), needing Trans work, I Highly recommend World Transmissions II! Although there were some bumps along the way, I was very impressed and very comfortable with the owner and his handling of my Baby. I give this shop 4.5 $tars! With a Big Minion Smile!

 

Glad to hear you get her back JC! I'm dreading when I eventually have to do a Trans overhaul on red especially when I just finished installing a clutch and doing some trans work in my GTO.

 

Do you know if they replace that God awful 4th gear clutch? With a better maybe reinforced one? I'm tryna figure out if they better than just getting a re manufactured one from triple edge performance

 

Dave, even though I felt comfortable with the shop, I still held that deep fear that it couldn't be fixed. I have that fear every time I put my car is someone else's hands. It's something in me.
George, I know he replace all the clutches, but I don't know if they were new or re-mans. When I take her back for her Check Up in 2 weeks I will find out!

The owners name is Bill. He may take a little longer than you would think it should take. But it's a bizy shop and he wants your work done right the first time. Which is why he offers a 3 year / 50k mile warranty on complete rebuilds. Aamco doesn't offer more than A Year and 10K miles and the only use OEM Original parts so you can end up with a bad trans again in a couple of years.
