gas smell in oil?? oh boy

I bought the 2004 mc ss in april, with 26k miles on it. I change the oil every 2k miles (i love her dearly). I've only had her up to 95 max only a few times (2) while warmed up on the highway while starting at 65mph ish. I changed the oil today and had a bon fire. My friend said "well fresh oil wont catch as easy, use old oil"...A few hours later I tried the fresh oil..just as curiosity,,,,.well, it surprised both of us. Considering my other friend would burn oil for bon fires and would take quite a while for it to catch. Along with every oil change, I add lucas Oil Stabilizer...Is this what Im smelling? The car currently has 32k on it.
thanks for the help.

did you try to ignite just the stabilizer to see how flammable it is?

What's your actual question?

Does the car smell like gas, is it the oil you drained out that smells like gas?

The oil it's self smells like gas

Used oil is always going to contain some gasoline that makes it's way into it. Used oil will almost always have a slight gasoline smell. Not really a big deal unless you're running really, really rich and the oil gets so much gas into it that it spins a bearing or causes another lubrication related issue- probably not the case here.
