Flowmaster Hushpower II or Super 40 Series

Hi, I have a '97 Z34 and I think its time to put some sound to it. I definitely want to go with Flowmaster, but don't know which to choose. At the moment I'm thinking either the Hushpower II or Super 40 Series since I've always like that American Muscle car sound, especially after owning a Camaro for a while.

Any opinions and reviews would be appreciated.

I have 40's on mine and I like it. You still get a little bit of that 6 cylinder drone with just a muffler swap. Rummor has it, if you replace the resonator with a glass pack or a high flow race muffler you get rid of allot of the drone and a more of a beefy sound.

I have not heard of the Hushpower II..

Why would you want your 6cyl monte to sound like your camaro......go with a pair of borla pro xs...nice 6cyl grumble, nothing worse than having your car that loud when it has no power...all bark no bite, not impressive!!! I just had a pair of the borla pro xs installed on my supercharged monte...most beautiful sounding mufflers I have ever owned!!! Paid 73.00 a peice brand new off ebay
