Check engine light on and off ? 2001 3.4
 

hey guys so my light has been comming on and off for the past few months. It has given me several different codes.

The once that comes the most say Bank 1/ cat ..

Id have to scan it again to get the # but i brought it to a shop and he said that he couldn;t get a legit read out on it because it spits a diff code every time he thinks the ECU needs a new flash ?


What can i do ?

You code have more then one condition happening.
A good scan tool can read "history" data (codes that have been thrown but may not be currently active). My advice, right down all the code data in history, clear it and drive the car to then see what code or codes pop up (so you are starting FRESH).
