i think i read somewhere that on the lq1's you can just remove the dogbone and rock the engine forwards to get to the back plugs.

cool, bama_z34, I think you and I may be on the same learning curve together, although you have the 3.4 DOHC.. I think I need to replace a cv axle, have you done anything like that yet? Sorry for thread jacking your original thread....

On the 96-97 engines this isnt possible. The plenum physically covers the spark plug holes. On the older engines this may be possible but I dont know.
