why don't you take the opportunity to get a tuned pcm from a vendor? doesn't even have to be a wild tune just a few tweaks like fan turn on temp.

btw what engine do you have?

i had the dealership "reset/reprogram" my ecm (as i went to look for one on rock auto and auto zone i seen they are referred to as the ecm not pcm) and it still didnt change anything. an engine right now happens to be my main priority (M^@$(&R F@&+!#R):wtf: *stomps feet, pouts, punches things, cries, dazes not wanting to be in reality anymore* so after i get that ill see what i can do again about the puter. who knows...maybe ill find that bad ground while we have the engine work being done???? time will tell.

the engine is a 3.1....and up until today i was still planning on buying a new ecm (not called pcm anymore?) at auto zone for $150. pay dealership $75 to program it and be done. BUT the car has decided she didnt want that done and i lost cylinder number 5 today so my engine is now toast. my new route is to figure out if im replacing her, rebuilding the engine, or just dropping a *unknown-of-care* used engine in her

my bad...the engine is a 3.4. cant just call it a 4cyl or 6 cyl...the numbers confuse me in chevy engines.
