B&M shift

Hey guys,
I bought my 88 monte ss and I love it, only problem is how hard it shifts. Ive never drove a car that shifts as hard as this one does. A friend of mine said its probably because it has a B&M shift kit. Any opinions? trying to decide whether to keep it or get it taken off or if my monte has bigger problems...

Mine shifted hard as hell with the shift kit it had, leave it haha.

Normally you can tell the difference, if it is going bad, it'll probably slip first.

I'd worry if it slips.A lot of people put the shift kits in thoses years. If you start making more power you'll need it.I say leave it in for now.

i will leave it because i heared from other shops when they removed them they end up replacing the trans do to the different shift paterns. not just that the trans belts and every thing got seeded to the set up imo i will leave it. also go towards to fixing the other problems it should level out shifting when the problems get worked out.
