I have an 86 monte carlo ss and was thinking about pulling the engine and working on it slowly. What would you recommend I do for starters which would not be so costly at first.

I don t care to keep the engine stock. Just looking to add power

Also are there any magazines specifically for 4th generation monte carlo ss

here you go bro. but when you do all the $$$math, you may consider buying a $1500.00 Chevy shortblock that can do 250 horse with basic parts and throwing all kinds of fancy stuff at it to give it real oooomph

I should mention these guys built an LG4 305, you got the fancy L69 305 with a better cam. other than that, they're all the same.
