3.1 to 3.4 conversaion
 

Hey guys, I've got a 95 Monte LS and a 95 Buick with a 3.4.
My headgaskets went and the engine locked, so I need a fix. The Buick runs good, so I'm wondering what exactly i'll need to buy and what I'll need to do in order to make the swap successful. Can I keep the 3.4 trans too? Any help would be appreciated Thanks!

If you're lucky it's a straight swap.
If you are doing the wrenching, ... do everything you need to while its out and you can access everything with ease.

When ever I had the Plant out for any reason, ... I give it the Dawn-Job.

Hook this up at the water valve on the house.
Hook-up the Hose to this baby.

Fill a Gallon Jug a little-over half-way with warm water.
Pour a whole bottle of DAWN ® into the gallon jug.
Add more water while mixing the DAWN concentrate to have three-quarters of a gallon to work with.
Anchor the Syphon Pick-up Tube with a Socket or weight that fits the Jug.

Use a Squeeze-handle Nozzle that will let you tune the Spray to a powerful jet when on and shuts-off while scrubbing so you don't waste any scrubbing bubbles!

Drop the Feed Tube in the Jug and hit the Plant with grease-cutting detergent.
