a cam and some headers would wake it up. some head porting and intake porting too.
even a 3500 top swap

FULL ACCESS to everything?

Find yourself a nice used 3.8L V6 L36 engine for about $400-$700 and slap it in there :P

How do i know if an engine will fit in my car i wanted to get this engine :: 04 Cadillac CTS-V Z06 LS6 5.7 Engine w/ T56 405hp :: i saw it on ebay i dont know if it will fit in my car but please let me know thank you all

ChibiBlackSheep 06-29-2009 09:15 AM

Isn't that a RWD engine?

If you really wanna get 400 HP, get yourself an L36 engine, do some mild transmission upgrades and some of the basic 3800 bolt-ons for turbos, and turbo it.

The CTS-V is definitely a RWD engine.

Have you taken many of the classes at school yet?

If you are looking for all out performance, I'm not sure a FWD MC is what you need. If nothing is broke on your car, then I wouldn't put much time/effort/money into it.

Some basics might include, U bend delete, tint, pace car spoiler (if it doesn't have one already) speaker upgrades, etc...None of these will make you car faster or more powerful, just more comfortable to drive and better looking.
