2002 Monte SS Earnhardt Edition gear ratio

Does anyone know the stock gear ratio in a 2002 Monte SS Earnhardt edition?
Is it 2.92:1?

Thanks in advance

Wrong answer....all 2002 MC are 3.05, only NA Pontiac Grand Prix are 97-03 are 3.29, ZZP has this listed: ZZ Performance

it should be the 3.29 because it was N/A just like the Grand Prixs

2.93 - 97+ Grand Prix GTP, Regal GS, Bonneville SSEi, 04+ Monte Carlo/Impala SS
3.05 - Most NA cars- 04+ Grand Prix GT (non supercharged), Regal/Lasabre, Bonneville, Monte/Impala (non SS), Park Avenue
3.29 - 97-03 Grand Prix GT, 04+ GTP (Comp G only)

It's a Chevy Monte....it's listed in the transmission books as 3.05...He is not driving a Pontiac DUH!
My own Monte is 3.05 as well. You need to re-read.

take it easy bud.

why would gm have different gearing for the same powertrain during that year, they're virtually the same car.

And Mike drives a car of that similar year, so I think he would know his own gearing?

Maybe we're both wrong.. But according to zzp it looks like it should be 3.29

ok so I work at advanced auto parts, I am top swapping my 02 monte ss Dale Earnhardt edition and doing front end rebuild and im also having problems finding the cv shafts or that edition of car. even though drive train is no different from the other 3.8 NA blocks however the cv shafts and fuel injectors are specific to the Dale Earnhardt edition

Just get regular replacement axles the Earnhardt edition is no different then any other l36 powered car.

You will however need l67 fuel injectors and then either solder connectors for them into your harness or find adapters possibly from zzp.

Advance auto parts computers don't know ****

Ive got a 01 bonneville ssei im using as a donor car thats got a complete top end that ill steal the injector pigtails off of and i found a kit on zzp for the l36 to l67 kit that has the 2 sensors ill need to add for 35$
