Was 02 Monte SS Earnhardt Edition equipped with HD trans
 

Does anyone know whether the 2002 Monte Carlo SS Earnhardt Edition came equipped with the HD transmission. Looking to beef it up and add LS differential.

No, it was the regular 4T65E, not the HD version.
The HD version only came on L67 equipped cars (the supercharged ones).
