congrats. good work. you should do a ls1/ls6 intake swap on it, tune it, and then go to the track. oh and post a serious burn out video. also what exhaust are you running on this car? the 01 stuff?

Hey MonteMan,

Thanks and it's the stock 01 exhaust. So the LS1 and LS6 intake will work on the LS4 with some tuning?

id ditch that exhaust, get a hogan downpipe some 2.5 or 3 inch piping and a resonator no mufflers. ls1/2/6 intake will work. they require a little fab and a tune. you would have to ditch dod, relocate opsu, and map. theres some more work involved, but the performance gain is well worth it. go on to ls1tech.com in the ls4 section theres plenty of threads on it, that and im sure the guys over there would like to see your swap.

You made a hybrid 6th/7th gen Monte!!! I am very very very very impressed specially seein as how the '01 didn't come supercharged. You really do have a sleeper! Congrats on birthing a 6.5 generation Monte Carlo.
