Used that black detailer on my black monte left haze spots on it i think its mcguires stay away. Whats your worst? The stuff I was talking about is Turtle Wax Black Deatiler in spray bottle not the black box its even black when you spray it did not like

I bet it had something to do with your procedures. The vehicle had some minute grime adhered that perhaps only a claybar would really get off. And then maybe the buffing process was not what it could have been. try reapplying more of the product on the hazed areas and buff the heck out of it. Sorry to hear about this, I feel for you. Hope you can get it resolved. Or you might have to Claybar the whole car and go from there.

Never use a wax or cleaner with a dye in it....

That's all that really needs to be said lol

The Black Box is by Turtle Wax so that's probably what you used.

X2 What he said^^^^ :rotfl:

I've never known Meguiars to have a black kit with dye in it? Had to of been turtle wax. As far as Meguiars products go, I use nothing but them. Start off with a good wash using the basic dawn dish soap (no lotion or anything added, just the original/plain blue dawn), then clay bar, then you could use something like scratchx/swirlx/ultimate compound (depending on your needs) then polish and wax correctly and you should have great results if applied correctly.

Lots of reading on Meguairs detailing forums will get you a long ways and get you show car results for a decent price. Just depends on what you want to see out of the car.

For wax I always use NXT 2.0, great product
