Thinking about getting a clear coat on them after finishing them up.

Very nice!!

If you stripped the factory coating, then definately get a sealer or clear coat on them (other wise they won't stay shiney for long).

They aren't factory rims they are cheaper aftermarket ones

Looking pretty nice they really needed some of your TLC. You have any power tools with lambs wool or burnishing wheel attachments, it would really speed up your project for you.

Looks good. If your doing it by hand i'll bet your fingers are killing you.

Yes I have done one by hand and a half of one with the mothers powerball....it almost seems to take longer with the powerball but not as much work...

Doesn't matter if they're factory originals or aftermarket aluminum wheels. If there's no protective coating, they'll corrode on you.
