so i went to a local upholstery shop and bought some 1/2" foam, should look nice, i figured 1/4" would be too thin :p
while i was there i got a quote on getting my seat guts done in suede
$300 for the 2 front seats and the rear bench, i might consider doing it sometime early next year

Update :D
so i never did find the jigsaw had to go buy some cheap one at the pawn shop got the job well done though so that was good i guess
I Should have everything done before this weekend if i get my suede fabric in the mail soon
anyways onto the pics!!.....
drilled 4 holes through the chevy template and through both boards to ensure everything lined up in the end....
2nd board, tracing the bowtie.....
going to raise the bowtie 1" with these, they are now cut in half but first i drilled a hole through them for the screws to go through....
painted them black just in case....
trimmed and placed together the two pieces to insure everything lined up, and yup everything fits and looks great!!
threw the led's under the bowtie, should light up a little better once its all done
trimmed the foam...
now i just have to wait for the fabric to get here!! :p
until then, thats it for now....
