All great advice above, do the sheet rinse (no sprayer), use a blower to chase the spots, and finish with a detail spray mist and micro fiber drying towel. Follow that and you will have a spot free Monte that shines.

Here is a pix of mine freshly washed with hard water in the sun Saturday afternoon.

Welcome to the world of having a black car where you see any little inperfection!

Another thing you could consider is rinseless wash, get yourself 10-12 quality plush microfibers and a quality waffle weave drying towel,

mix up rinseless wash, put all the microfibers into solution, do one to 2 panels per microfiber (real diry rinse car off first to get rid of built up dirt ect) once done with panel bry with waffle weave

X2 works well & much easier than a clay bar. I have used it on a foam pad with my porter cable. Clean and smooth paint the easy way.

I used to wash my Monte in the am early. When the driveway was in the shade. Then pull her in the garage to wipe down. never any water spots that way.

[QUOTE=03SSLE;545858]You can try using a quick detailer spray while the surface is still wet. Spray some on then wipe with a microfiber towel.

Agreed!! and always wipe the car down while still wet. Do not let the surface get hot.
