Used to be really popular around here until the cops made it illegal.

Yeah, basicly you need to watch for the cops, back home in Wyoming all red, blue, and yellow are illegal, but I talked the cops around town into letting me use them. I told them that my lights are under the car so don't really look like and emergancy vehical and they agreed. But here in Bozeman, MT, the cops are uptight, fist night I had them on (cycle all 7 colors) and they told me that I couldn't have any red, blue, yellow, or green, and I was like damn, not even green. So I asked him if it would be alright for white, and he says no, and I'm just like WTF? What's wrong with white... But I finally talked him into letting me use purple, didn't even try asking about turquise.

I don't see what the problem is with led's UNDER the car. Last time I checked, emergency vehicles have their lights ON TOP of the vehicle.

The excuse they used in Ontario (Canada), was that lights under the vehicle and lights around the license plates are a distraction, and could cause an accident. That argument I can see. But to say that led's under your car makes you look like an emergency vehicle is just b/s in my opion.

Nice![sm=smiley20.gif]
I've seen some around town on different cars. Great effect while driving down the street. They also add that little extra something at Show-n-Shine shows too.

haha lucky you, down here if they can see the light on under or around the car its illegal, and with blue or red you get a ticket for impersonating an officer so yeah its bs
