Spring Cleaning Rituals ????

Anyone else have some spring cleaning rituals that they always do with their car every spring?

For me when i go for the first wash in wax of the spring. I always take the license plates off before the wash and then after i dry the car i take the Headlight housings and taillights out so i can clean where they cover up and get into the corners where salt has settled at. Then clay bar the car and wax it.

here are a few pics after the cleaning today.

looks good! =D
mostly i just do a huge complete cleaning of the car. clean the engine bay area, the trunk, the whole interior and exterior, the doors, just bout anything that you can think of that i can reach without taking the car apart of putting it up on a lift

I wash the car 3 times, clay bar and wax. Change cabin air filter / clean CAI. Polish the leather, vacuum the car. Do a quick shot of the engine bay with some cleaner. Since I'm going to try to do some painting of the engine bay this year, I'll probably take one weekend and really really clean it up.

the '01 gets a good cleaning in and out. swap out the floor mats for the summer ones, vacuum, detail the interior, and the outside get washed and waxed.

the '88 is a hell of a lot easier. Just take the car cover off and away I go lol!!! If was funny, my co-worker said "man you must have been up all night getting that waxed" I said "nah, the wax job was from last summer, I just took the cover off" lol

Pretty much the same, minus engine bay cleaning.

What do you use to clean yours?

This is what I do for Silver: I wash the car really well - crawl under the car to clean any salt residue off. Then I inspect the surface and claybar, polish areas that need it and give it a good wax with NXT 2.0. The interior really doesn't need much - the windows (which I hate to do) and condition the leather seats and vacuum. Lastly I detail the engine compartment.

Of course Precious doesn't need much when I get him out of storage.

You just spray the crap on parts in there or do you spray a rag and wipe?
