Default Spring Cleaning

Finally got around to cleaning Old Man Winter off the car. This is the first time I have used Eagle 1 Nanowax, what do you guys think?

Yes, the car has 1 coat and the hood has 2 coats. I plan on 3 coats on the entire car. Also I have updated my album, so take a peek

I've got to hand it to you guys. You black car guys are a real devoted bunch.

I used to wash our black company Pathfinder and 40 seconds later there would be a visible layer of dust.

My brown car on the other hand looks freshly washed for almost a week.

I have to agree with you wiz!! My M/C is black also. Its a pain in the butt to keep clean, but when its clean and the street lights hit it.... it shines!!!!

I'm starting to see a few swirls in the paint... don't forget it is an 03' with 210000 kms or 130000 miles!! I guess it can be expected.

Anyone have any recommendations for the swirls? I did try the "clay bar" on my old M/C, but I was not impressed.... maybe I was doing something wrong..

Thanks

you need more like a polish..maybe a 3m polish...to work into the clear coat a bit...then you wax after that...luckily i dont have to do that with mine...just wax this spring...probably 3 coats or so...but not looking forward to that whole day of waxing...

Yes black is a pain but when people wait in their car for you to come and tell you what a nice car you have its all worth it. today at 3 differant places women told me what a great cat I had. So all in all I would have to say that black Monte's attract the "hotties". I just hope the wife doesn't mind too much.

I could safely say that I'm a portly middle-aged man and I get the prettiest gals telling how they dig the LTZ. Wow, but I'm divorced!
