Small PhotoShoot - 2 Coats of Zaino Z2 Wax on my 01 SS

Hey guys I did a coat of Zaino's Z2 wax yesterday and the proceeded to putting on a 2nd coat this afternoon. The paint literally looks "wet." This is the most amazing wax I have ever used on my car. I am probably going to plastidip my rims soon and put red overlays on the bowties.

Let me know what you guys think of the pics; click the thumbnails (too lazy to do photobucket right now)

Very nice! I love Zaino, mostly because of it's wet look.

Plastidipped wheels will look cool IMO. But it's easily removed if you don't like it :)

NovaSS369 09-05-2012 11:05 PM

Exactly what I was thinking. I will probably hit the window trim too if I do it just so everything on the sides is matte. Thinking about getting matte black stripes for the 06-07 SS's but don't know where to get a good set or where to get them installed at :/

Looks nice! I really like the look of yours with those 7th Gen Super Sport wheels.

03SSLE 09-06-2012 07:25 AM

Lookin' good! I use the Zaino Leather in a Bottle on my interior and really like the results...I'll have to give their wax a try.

lougreen03 09-06-2012 07:52 AM

Nice pics. I should give that wax a try even tho it rains almost instantly every time I wax. I like the way Member Jester_20 plastidipped his rims. It gives them a whole different look.

Ricks 2006 SS 09-06-2012 03:21 PM

your Monte looks Fantastic the way it is. Don't add stripes to it  And those wheels really set it off nicely:thumbsup:

NovaSS369 09-06-2012 06:51 PM

WOW! Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all the compliments. I have gotten quite a few in the last couple days driving around!

AwesomeSS 09-06-2012 07:23 PM

Looks great!

03JGMonte 09-06-2012 08:06 PM

Looks Great

Mr Grizzly Mint 09-06-2012 08:33 PM

nice that must be good wax. any beading or will it still get water spots if you get rained on?

NovaSS369 09-06-2012 08:43 PM

Supposed to bead right off. My Dad did his Harley Road King, 72 Buick GS, and Silverado in it and it has worked wonders.

Funny... I got on here this morning just to rave about Zaino, and I see this thread. Definitely a worthwhile product. I've used almost a dozen cleaning/waxing products, and the gloss and shine from this stuff is like no other.

Blazed SS 09-12-2012 09:09 AM

Looks Great!!!

How did you got about putting the Chevy logo on your sunroof? Looks pretty sick.

Jparks 01-14-2013 08:18 PM

Very different look threw me off for a second with the 7th Gen SS wheels. Looks good.

Jparks 01-14-2013 08:24 PM

Side step on the thread but 03JGMonte... every post I see your signature with those girls I need me a picture like that... must have used Zaino Z2 Wax right... haha back on topic!

NovaSS369 03-12-2013 05:29 AM

Cannot wait for snow and rain to stop to re-wax this bad boy....after some paint work :/

werewolf-odst 03-12-2013 08:08 AM

Looks real good. And i also wanna say how nice those seventh generation wheels look on the sixth generations. I was comtemplateing getting those as an upgrade for the wheels. How much did yours run you? Or did you pick them up from a junk yard?? The car looks real good with them on and waxed. ::thumbs up::

NovaSS369 03-12-2013 08:14 AM

I got them on Craigslist for an absolute steal. $600 with 2 new tires and 2 half tread. Amazing deal, they have gotten a few chips since my ownership however :( I am contemplating plastidipping them in black with glossifier though and then putting red bowtie overlays on the center caps.

werewolf-odst 03-12-2013 08:18 AM

That is one hell of a deal, i will be loking for some! That will be one sweet ass look! Cant wait to see.

NovaSS369 03-12-2013 10:32 AM

Will be doing it after new tires get installed and will make a thread!

Tadcaster 03-12-2013 12:26 PM
