Bart: Something I was curious about on your car. The siver ground effects, can you get those factory without getting the rally stripe package as well? I guess I was thinking they had to come together.

Actually I'm going to have my own custom vinyls cut. I'm ordering bulk vinyl from http://www.signwarehouse.com They've got pretty good deals, and I'll have more than enough if I happen to make any goofs. A friend has a cutter machine, so I can get that done on trade for some computer work I'm doing for her. She's also going to cut some decals for me, like my computer repair email address. Bit of advertisement never hurts, right?
My stripes will probably be pretty close to the stock rally stripes available. Not gonna get too crazy, will be flat black, with metallic blue pinstripes. The stocks were Semi-gloss black on black pinstripes, but ppl that had silver or other colors complained about them being short-lived. The vinyl I'm getting is rated at 6 to 9 years outdoors, so it should last much longer.
I'm kinda worried about how it will look since I don't have a sunroof. I like the SS's that have the sunroof, especially silver stripes on black body color. Or black stripes on silver color, but I think the cars with sunroofs look better.... But we'll see... I think anything from stock can only be an improvement.

My car came with the silver ground effects as far as i know that is the rally stripe package. The stripes on the hood top and trunk i bought from http://www.autotrimdesign.net

If you want the look of a sun roof on your car buy one of the fake sun roofs everyone is complaining about on the net right now.

I really think whether you have a sun roof or not the stripes will look good on your car.
Strange how I looked on the Auto Trim Design site and even typed in "Monte Carlo Rally Stripe" and got nothing?

No, I don't think I'd do the fake sunroof, lol!
I'll prolly just do the stripes, and if I don't like em, then I'd just take em off. It'd be a pain with the adhesive and having to remove that, but I suppose its better than a fake sunroof. Hah!
Besides, My stripes will most likely be flat black.... at least that's the current thought... Seriously considering metallic laser blue type color as well.
