That's amazing Tweek. What a difference between before and after. I have a real appreciation for the labor involved in the paint correction. Just finished my own on my '03 black SS that looked similar to yours. Spent about 50 hours with orbital buffer starting with rubbing compound, then swirl remover, then machine glaze, then polymer sealant, and finally yellow wax. Turned out pretty good and may post pics. Found a place in Tacoma that does the Ceramic Pro for $450 which I'm seriously considering after seeing how yours turned out so beautiful.

$450 ask them if that is 9h and lite. You want them to use both. I know for detailer a sample bottle cost them $300

Thanks tweek. Tried calling them, but had to leave a message. This place is so busy their appointments are booked 2-3 weeks out. As it turns out they use a product called CQuartz that competes with Ceramic Pro and there's 2 versions of it. Have you heard of, or know anything about it? from what I have heard ceramic pro is the only one that is permanent. All the others wear off or wash off after a year or 2. This one creates a permanent bond to the clear coat. But whatever one you choose do a paint correction first to get all the swirls out. The guys I went to I got to pick their brain as to what can cause swirls. They said anytime you move dust. So even if you use detail spray on a car with some dust you will scratch, dusters will scratch, car covers on a dusty car will scratch. now when I wash the car I use a foam gun, and I have a car dryer then after that I use 70% alcohol and distilled water mixture 50/50 in a 32 oz spray bottle with some microfiber towels from Costco. Best deal ever right there go to Costco you can get 32 microfiber towels for $16

Thanks tweek. Did some research online about CQuartz and you're right. There are 2 versions of it. CQuartz UK is more like a polymer sealant. You can buy it from Amazon for $60 and do it yourself , but it only lasts 9-12 months. The other product is CQuartz "Finest" and can only be purchased and applied by professionals. The Finest sounds more like CeramicPro. It applies the same and is a baked on hydrophobic ceramic nano coating but only lasts 2 yrs. Then you need to have another product called "Reload" applied to renew it. Here's a video on it.
