Keeping factory grille dark, unweathered
 

Hey everyone.

I have an unmodded '07 Monte LT, and am looking for advice as to the best way to keep my factory grille (both down low in the front bumper cover and between the headlights) looking assembly-line fresh and dark. The last car I had (a '97 import) had its similar black plastic panels (grille, rocker panels) turn mottled and blotchy gray over time, and I'm looking for some product to apply that will prevent that from happening this time.

Also, something that will -last-. The milky, water-based protectants don't seem to last past the first rainfall.

Suggestions?

I use Turtle Wax Ice, but it's not real long lasting. Someone got something better?

Armor-all?

mothers back to black, lasts for a few days if its already turned kinda grey or whatever but keeps it looking black if u use it before it turns

i also use turtle wax ice, the kind in the hair gel looking bottle. i also use it on the front license plate holder. lol now that i think of it i think its the interior kind but it works.

Vinylex! Its made by Lexol, the company that makes the leather cleaner/ conditioners. Vinylex seems to work really well, and last for a decent amount of time.
