Hey, I have an '02, and i was wondering if anybody knows how to replace the shifter ****....mines lookin kinda dull....thanks!

 

Ok. It took me a whole 5 minutes to remove mine the first time. Slide down the leather boot so you see the complete shift ****. then with a small screwdriver pry out the staple lookin clip in the FRONT of the shift **** once you have this out just pull up on the **** and presto you did it. Here are some pictures of mine before and after.

so is there only a certain kind that i can get? Or can I get a push down **** too?

 

Well Juicei have seen the push down style on ebay and Advance Auto and Auro Zone or you can be like me and make one.

 

push button works too. I got my online, and needed to do some custom fabbing to amke sure it fit snug.
