Hey all, just did a headlight resto and it turned out pretty good.

I had to wetsand the headlight and buff, polish and wax.

That came out really good. My headlights were a little yellowed at the top, so I bought the Meguiars headlight restoration kit, which got rid of the yellowing, but I've still got some scratches at the top of one of the headlights. I'm afraid I'll mess up the headlight if I try to sand it out. What's the best way to do this? What grain sandpaper should I use?

As you see in the pictures I masked off the hood and surrounding paint. Then wet sand with 800 then follow that with 1200grit. You should see a pasty white that's what your looking for. Follow that with your megairs.
