Got a 88 monte and was wondering if theres any tricks to keep dust out of engine compatment?

No tricks you just have to clean it when it starts getting dirty.

Yup just keep it clean and dont use any type of armor all or other type of sprays to make everything looks shiny, the dust just sticks to it more.

No special tricks...
Just elbow grease, a little soap and water,and regular maintenance....:)

Use the Voodoo all surface detailer (my new favorite), it can be used to clean up EVERYTHING! or mothers back-to-black. Neither are greasy and won't attract dirt.

I was wondering this as well, cause when I first got it, it was full of sand. Now I see some green goo or something getting all over everything...I need to get to cleaning mine right away.

Mine was covered in that nasty green goo too! Whatever it is its a bit-- to get off. Use like a heavy duty degreaser, and goo gone. The gel is the best. Take a dish sponge or bug scrubber sponge to get it off.

I was thinking that would be a good idea! Because it had to get on the part of the engine where I painted the support braces and everything. But I planned on painting them again anyway. I tried to use something to get it off, but it would not come off, and it just came back the next day. I used a house hold cleaner, and thY just made it worse. Clorox is a BAD idea as well!
