Hey does anyone know who makes those tires with the red stripe around the wheel? I saw them on a Monte on car domain I think, andon anew concept camaro. thanks

 

i think theres a company called nitto that offers them, but if memory is serving me today, it was only in the warm climate states they were sold. Must be a summer tire...?

scratch that nitto's only suv tires.

I know duplicolor sells paint pens designed for the purpose.
Ive been thinking about doing it but Im afraid its not going to look good.

I have stock 2003 MC SS. I have a wish list too!

1. U bend delete.
2. Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers (I like em).
3. K &N CAI
4.Monte Carlo door sill.
5. I was looking at the clear and blk headlights with some clear corners (not sure)

I just got my MC SS floor mats, they are sweet. I'm selling my XBOX 360 toget some of thesethings for my car lol.I will post pictures of it as soon as I can.

 

Please do, I plan to do these same things with mine. I would love to see it all.

 

I think I saw the tires SS_girl is talking about. These had a thinner stripe, and were on a luxury car. Not an SUV or truck. Sorry I didn't get to see the make of the tire.

3800performance offers a set of nitto's for our cars... and my best friend has a set on his Cobra mustang.. they are avaiable for montes. however, a big fat of the 70's was red wall tires... the nitto's ahve a red stripe in the tread when you buy them, not on teh sidewall. if what you saw was on the sidewall, then it was a redwall tire and they are quite hard to find... just look around and google them.

I checked out dbtires.com and they have the tires that I want. This is a very crude picture I did in photoshop. My car is bronze with the red stripe, SS emblem on the side. What do you guys think of the tire/wheel combo? The wheels are some Sport Edition KV5 18" from Tire Rack. I like subtle stuff, I absolutely don't want any chrome. That Tire Paint Stick isn't a bad idea either + it'll be cheaper.
