Buffing Question

After I got my Monte wash the other day I looked at it and it looks like there are thousands of fine scratches from the brushes they used at the car wash, anyone have an idea how to get rid of them, the seem very shallow.

A good polish and wax should do the trick. It's just a matter of smoothing the clear back out.

If scrathes are an issue with you as they are with me NEVER take your car to an automatic car wash. They will ruin a finish faster than anything. IN winter I take wifey's Monte to a quarter car wash and do it myself

Yep only hand washing for me too, and the self serve power wash in the winter. Like chibi said a polish and wax will fix it right up. Good luck.

x2. an automatic car wash is really hard on your car. especially the ones with brushes that actually touch your car. but probably a light polish with a buffer will do the trick depending on how severe the scratches are.

I take my crappy 1998 Monte through the auto sometimes.

Now, when I get the 1997 Monte, I won't.
