Default Better than "California Duster"

After a few years of using the "California Duster" and being dissapointed with the wax residue that it sometimes leaves - streaks - I stumbled on to a better way.

Try a "Swifter" - made for dusting furniture etc.

It removes all the dust from the body, windows, top without leaving any residue or streaks. When it gets too dirty just throw the cover away and replace.

Probably wouldn't use on "dirt" but for dust - it works for me.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing that tip. Wonder if anyone else has "swiffered" their cars.

Smile Do make the Swifer in multiple sizes?

Yeah, Mrs. Bickerson uses them too and she runs them all over the house. but they are fairly small.
If she was dusting the car she would scratch the finish the way she flings it around.

I can't find the product that you are talking about. I keep getting some sort of spray.

Is it the microfiber cloth one?

Yes -- Swiffers are the ones in bright yellow-and-orange boxes, and the dusters have yellow handles. Should be on the shelf at any general store (Walmart, Target, etc.) in the house cleaning section.

I have an old California Duster too, and have been thinking about replacing it soon, maybe with the one from Griot's Garage (even though they're pricey).
