Default 83 ss

I just obtained an 83 SS and am wanting to know what wheels I can fit on it. What cars they would come off of. I liked the list that was posted but it seemed it was all for newer Monte's. I do not know if there would be a diff. or not. If somebody could help it would be nice. I am new to the Monte scene so I want to make the best of it.

For some reason the 95-99 Z34 is missing from the original list in post #1. I know, it's 5 x 115.

Welcome to the forum:
Your 4th gen Monte Carlo comes with 15X7 wheels
The bolt/stud pattern is 5 X 4.75

As far as what wheels .... A good for instance.... Iroc Z-28 wheels I always thought looked Great on a 4th gen Monte Carlo!

Heres the stock wheels that should have came on it.

But I also liked the look of the stock wheels they used from 1986 thru 1988!

I bought a set of rims that the standard is right at 5x4.5 but the metric is off by .03 the rims are 5x4.5 and 5x112 instead of 5x115 will this still work on my car?

Default '87ss rims

I have a 87 Monte Carlo as. I'm needing a set of rims for it,DESPERATELY. I need to know what other rims fit. The whole'off set' bolt pattern has made restoring my car a pain. I just need something, anything, to put on it so that I can move it from time to time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Constance; Welcome to the Monte Carlo Forum.
I did a little research on google for this, Check this link for the Details but it appears you have a 5 lug and the spacing is 4.75 thus the 5x4.75 rims would work. I would GUESS that most Chevy's from the 80's would have similar wheels.
The link shows even steel wheels. Hope that helps.
you also may want to do a Craigs list search for wheels.
