Some Pre-Car Show getting ready photo's
So I was preparing all last week from about the 20th up to the 23rd for this Car show in Concordia, KS and then it goes and rains what a bummer.
Concordia is about 100 miles straight south of I-80 on Hwy 81 it would have been a fun day in nice weather.
Meet with butch49 and hang out at the CarShow.
Doubt I would win much but car shows are always fun to check out the landcruisers.
Got a few shots of some of the updates I had made.
Door panels were done with panels retrieved from a U-Pull it salvage yard. I also redid the lower panels with some leather from an Old Budweiser Jacket.

Some more photos
Wow tonight the system seems to be acting up, just get the photo's in and then I loose them?
Anyway keep trying to make it work. More photo's
this one is the Rear panel which I had painted a few years back and cleared. I also had bowties for the backup lights and just finished them with red pinstripe. Also added a Indy speedway badge from my visit this July.

Some photos of the light covers
So I have been looking thru all the stuff that I have and found a magazine cover with the 3 Car on it and it had these red stripes around the headlights so I thought I would see what it looked like on the light covers.

I rarely try in intimidate anyone, unless I am racing against somebody, they may wish not to participate for that. But otherwise I think I am good to go!?!?!

That was an idea the upholsterer lady thought of and we were able to cut up a leather Jacket that was showing some wear and I bought for a real cheap price.
I saw some others that folks have done that they had an SS in or something similar.
When you take the door panel apart it's kind of a pressed wood under the Carpet in the Salvage yard when they get wet they turn to mush!

I think they made 7 of them like the original one that Chuck Barris did, I saw one at a World of Wheels car show in Omaha that was
done in Black Velvet.
The Motor cycle I have a photo of is got a lot of Red stripes on it too.
