I think that sounds like good grounds to make a date to hit a 1/4 mile drag strip

Have jason adjust your shift points on your pcm then you will really have him

I've got a friend at work with an SI that wanted to race as well, I think it'd be close since they both have similar 0-60 times. Though his is a 5 speed and I think I'd get him on the shifts.

If he's truthfully stock, you should have no problem taking him from the dig and beating him in a 1/4.
The car has no torque, and all of his power is in the high rpm band, our cars have a good TQ rating, and a lot of power in the low end.

I think you'd take him off the line.
I have raced a Civic SI before on the HWY, punching it at about 70-75 MPH and going for it. My 06 took the lead and held it. I wouldn't say I completely dusted him, but I kept him in my rear view mirror for sure.

You'll take him.I ran a few of those cars before. They don't put down the numbers that they claim.I walked away from one with a stock cavi. The few I've seen/raced at the track never went faster than a mid 15 for stock ones. It's the lack of low end power
Of course if he's a better driver than you it changes the game a bit.
