Default Bloomington, IL Salvage Yard

FYI if you are looking for misc. gen 5 or gen 6 parts, I visited a salvage yard today in Bloomington, IL. They had about 12 gen 5 and 7 gen 6 Montes. Walked out with 3 fuse box covers, a handful of radio *****, 4 wheel cap covers, and a center console lid for twenty bucks.

Went back to Lincoln truck and auto today and picked up these door and trim pieces. Great guys there - they only wanted 5 bucks to begin with, then when I offered my credit card he said not to even worry about it! Free trim!

Definitely will be back there soon.

Got these as extras to try carbon fiber wrapping.

The carbon fiber wrapping can be a nice touch! Looks good. Driver#3 did that to his Monte, really changes the feel (but in a good way).

BeachBumMike- It was great to see, good practice for getting my trim off too without too much worry busting a part

Thanks Maniac! Yeah I saw #3's pics on his interior build thread yesterday and thought it looked great! I didn't know what I was getting into so I wanted to do it on a spare set just in case, I shared additional pics of the finished wrap with him there too.
