Fog Lights In
I bought a set of factory fog lights off Frank (03limitedss) a couple of weeks ago... got them installed, and wired them up today. I didn't run a switch, though. I just spliced into the headlights so when they're on the fogs will be too.
The drivers side gave me some trouble though. The clip that holds it to the bumper was smaller than the passenger side one, so I had to change the clip, then after I wired them I couldn't get the drivers side one to light...turns out the bulb was broke.
So after all that was fixed, they're up and running. I'll take some pictures tonight to get the full effect.

The fogs are AWESOME! I do not like how the FACTORY button for the fogs is just that, a button. I would like them to be on when the headlights (not daytime running lights are on). But I still like a "switched" control over them.
Perhaps a future mod for my car, but I have other pressing issues to consume my time.

Besides, by not running the switch for the fogs to the factory spot, I can install something in that spot for another function. Maybe interior courtesy lights.

Technically (legally), the fog lights need to turn off when the high beams turn on...
Also, did you use a relay for the fogs or wire them directly to the headlights? If you didn't use a relay, you are pulling more current thru the factory headlight wiring then it was designed to support.. don't be surprised if you melt the factory wiring at some point
You can use the factory push button without the BCM if you add a DEI 611-T... Check out my integration diagram here:

Thanks BBEngineer. Actually, I had a shop help me w/ the install... I know the technician so we did it at the shop. They are wired to the low beams only, because of the DRL's using the high beams, I didn't want the fogs on 24/7 so if the highs or parking lights are on, the fogs aren't. Yes, there's a relay in there as well.
