Good morning guys.
So I've been looking at buying a house this year which some of you are aware of. I was under contract for three months on a short sale and unfortunately that deal fell through a few weeks ago. My girlfriend and I are now looking together. Yesterday we went to put an offer in on a very nice house, one that had been on the market for ONE day, and find out they already accepted an offer the day before. I dealt with this same scenario several times this past spring too. It's unbelievably frustrating that you can't, for your life, act fast enough on homes right now. Staying positive, I guess it wasn't THE house for us.

Morning all. Sorry about your house issues Matt. Do you have a housing shortage up there? Maybe open up and look in areas else where. I wish you luck. I know that when Angie and I purchased our house it was the most stressful time off my life. Good luck and take your time.

Thanks Mel. I'll put it this way - at any given time, the selection of "nice", "move in ready" homes available in our price range is limited and when they do get listed they get snatched up in a day or two. Sub $200k homes are moving ridiculously quick in our area right now; $300k+ homes are moving slower.

Good morning everyone. I am in class right now already ready for it to be done. The monte was leaking antifreeze but my uncle who is my mechanic said they couldn't find where it was leaking. They even did a pressure test but still nothing. There might have been a tube disconnected cause my dad found that but ended up breaking something so I still don't have my car.

Matt, We are searching for a home too. We have been searching since the beginning of Summer. I also have to agree that $200K to $260K homes move very fast here in NW Ohio. Homes in upper $200K and above $300K just sit until a price drop.
