My life has been a roller coaster of emotions the last couple of years. I lost my grandma who was like a second mom to me and graduated college. I got my first job as a teacher and was encouraged to get my Administrator's Certificate so I could be a principal. The people who encouraged and supported that decision left the school district and now I have no idea how much longer I will have a job. The highs and lows have been tremendous. Tonight was one of those nights in your life that is pure joy and happiness. I opened my front door and saw that it is snowing large flakes and sticking to the ground. This alone would make me happy, but what happened next is the pure joy. I let my dog out and he stopped and watched the snow flakes falling. He then opened his mouth and started catching them as they fell. This progressed to running and jumping to get as many as he could. I head to bed tonight with a blanket of white on the ground and a peacefullness in my soul that I have not felt in a long time.May your life be blessed with happiness and pure joy!!!!

(Personal note to self. Snow = yuck)

We're suppose to have nice, bright, warmer, sunshine the next few days.

THAT........ makes me happy & content.

I like being outside. I like being warmed by the sun. I hate being cold. I live in the wrong state due to the amount of cold & colder seasons we have here.

Thanks for the comments guys. Today is a workday for us teachers so I came home and I am firing up the old blazer and taking the dog to school with me. This is the blazers first snow with me as well. Lived in Vegas for 2 years. I like the cold. I can put a coat or gloves on to warm up. I hate the heat though. I know I will quit swearing and not say the s word again for 1 day. ha ha

 

Ugh, supposed to snow here tonight and through out the weekend. It's about 40*F out right now and I'll tell all ya'll, I'm not ready for the cold.

Atleast I have a cover for my baby this year.

The post you made Todd was very nice tho! Our 4 legged buddies are just that, and when they make you smile and comfort you like he obviously did, that makes them even more special!

Not looking forward to the white stuff, but our 2 dogs DO love the stuff. They run, roll and frolic in the stuff. We have about a half acre fenced in back yard just for them, and they love it!

There's a new commercial here in Canada for Midas Muffler Shops that I couldn't help but laugh at.
It's all too true here and a lot of northern states as well.
