Mornin guys. Fixin to head for bed. I'm loving the Note 4 that I got. Battery life is amazing compared to the Note 2 I had. Plus there are a lot more things it can do. Amy, the Note 4 is worth it. It's completely awesome. It'll take a few days before I can even touch it's full capabilities.
Gotta work tomorrow. Maybe we'll get off early, maybe not. We'll see. Picking up parts for the 78 on Sunday. After that, I'll only need two more parts. I hope I see that lady at OC tomorrow after work. Doubt it, but I can hope.
Trimmed down to a goatee today. Mainly because it's hard to rock a full beard when I have my head shaved. I may try to pull it off after I grow it back. Although I'll have to shave when I get fitted for a respirator (for the paint booth).
Hope y'all have a good one.

Good morning MCF! Thanks for starting the blog Sgt. Drew. Do you have any pics of the 78?
A short day at work for me then it is either on to the Boydton Day Festival or go cut some more firewood. It may sound crazy but the hard work of cutting and splitting firewood is a good stress reliever for me! Not that I am under more than normal stress but it allows me to give 100% concentration and effort. Then all the dumb stuff I let bother me goes away. Crazy huh?
I hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Good morning guys. Getting ready to head to the final Cars and Coffee of the year this morning.
Another one of Detroit's significant architectural pieces, David Whitney Building, is nearing its renovation completion. DW was built in 1915 and was renovated in 1959 with a more modern appearance. The building has been empty since 2000. This 2014 renovation is mostly taking the building back to it's original appearance.
David Whitney is center right in this skyline picture - the light colored brick building with flag atop.

Cool wright up and pictures Matt. I like seeing old buildings brought back to life. Our local schools have abandoned some nice old buildings for new dull looking ones. Different municipalities and private groups have taken them and turned them into nice buildings that get regular use.
