After speaking to my wife about this, we dated in high school, she says this was 1988. I was 19 and one year after graduating HS. Also a year before I picked up a 944 Turbo S.
The stache has been with me since the beginning and was only removed for boot camp for 8 weeks. That was back just before Desert Storm. Had it ever since. It has been added to over the years but it has mostly remained the same.
