As my dad says the joy of owning an older car is that every time you drive it something else breaks so you get to be outside away from the wife working on it.

On a more positive note. This past friday we went to a local cruise only to discover we were the only ones to show up. Guess the other's decided it's gotten too cold for them to hang out at BurgerKing this time of year?

My g/f wanted to go to Hallmark across the street so we drove over. I sat in the car (cause I don't trust other people around my cars) while she went in to shop.

A guy and his son came up to my car and dad asked if his son could snap a picture of my '57 cause he loves '57 Chevies. I had no problem with this young man wanting a picture of my car. I find it kind of flattering.

I told this young man I hope someday he get's to own his dream car after he took the picture.
